True Light Girls' College was established in 1973 by the Kowloon True Light Middle School Management Board with the assistance of the Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China.This was to commemorate the centenary of the True Light Alma Mater, which was found in 1872 in Guangzhou by an American missionary, Ms Harriet Noyes.
