20250411 – The Animal Photopoetry Creative Challenge
On 11th April, eight junior form and two senior form students took part in the Animal Photopoetry Creative Challenge organised by the Curriculum Development Institute (CDI), the Education Bureau (EDB), and Ocean Park Hong Kong. This distinctive competition offered a cross-curricular language learning experience, blending English poetry writing, photography, and the promotion of positive values.
During the event, students photographed an animal at the park and composed a poem about it, incorporating the assigned values of ‘benevolence’ and ‘perseverance’. Drawing inspiration from arctic foxes, penguins, macaws, and dolphins, our students crafted and submitted works that highlighted their creativity and originality.
