Commemorating Martyrs’ Day and Celebrating National Day
On 30th September, the school held activities to commemorate Martyrs’ Day and celebrate the 77th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China. The day commenced with a whole-school flag-raising ceremony, during which the Principal delivered a speech encouraging students to remember the sacrifices of national martyrs, reflect on their civic responsibilities, and cultivate national pride.
In the afternoon assembly, Legislative Council Member, President of the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, and CPPCC National Committee Member Professor Lau Chi-pang delivered a talk entitled “Soft Power Building and National Confidence” (軟實力建設和民族自信). Professor Lau encouraged students to take pride in the nation’s cultural heritage and contribute actively to its ongoing development. |
