To help students understand the connections and diversity of Hong Kong and the nation, the Citizenship and Social Development department organised the Mainland Study Tour from 13th to 14th April for S5 students. This tour provides students with valuable first hand experiences on the growth and achievements of China and foster a strong sense of belonging towards our country.
During the tour, students visited sites like the Shenzhen Nanshan Museum, Nantou Ancient City, and the Shenzhen Reform and Opening-Up Exhibition Hall. These visits have deepened their understanding of China’s cultural heritage, historical evolution, and recent advancements.
These experiences are vital for strengthening national identity and critical thinking, preparing students to contribute positively to both their local and global communities.
