Speech Day and Lantern Passing Ceremony
On 27th June, the school held its annual Speech Day and Lantern Passing Ceremony, marking two meaningful milestones in the students’ journey.
The highlight of the day was an inspiring speech by Ms Kathy Tsui, Chief Operating Officer of YOHO Group Holdings Limited and a proud alumna of the school. As she presented graduation certificates to the Secondary 6 students, Ms Tsui shared heartfelt advice and encouragement, urging them to face future challenges with confidence, resilience, and an open mind.
The ceremony also marked a symbolic passing of the torch. As the Secondary 6 students handed over the lantern to their Secondary 5 peers, it signified the transition of leadership within the student body. Now the senior-most year group, the Secondary 5 students are entrusted with setting a positive example and guiding the younger pupils with integrity and care.
To conclude the event, the school officially launched the Permanent Yi Yun Association. The association aims to help this year’s Secondary 6 graduates stay connected and continue the friendships and memories they’ve built during their time at school.
