20250411 – 2025 School Drama Festival & EMI Drama Festival
In March and April 2025, the school Drama Club dispatched a group of 15 students to participate in the 2025 Hong Kong School Drama Festival and the 2025 EMI Drama Festival. The troupe presented an excerpt from The Merchant of Venice, authored by the renowned English playwright William Shakespeare. Their exceptional performance and teamwork earned them two ensemble awards and six individual accolades in these competitions.
At the 2025 Hong Kong School Drama Festival, the team received the Award for Outstanding Cooperation, with three Secondary Two students and one Secondary Four student being recognised with the Award for Outstanding Performer.
During the 2025 EMI Drama Festival, the company performed alongside four other schools and emerged victorious, securing the prestigious Award for Outstanding Performance. Additionally, two students were honoured with the title of Outstanding Performer. As recipients of the Award for Outstanding Performance, they have been invited to perform at the Prize Ceremony at Wah Yan College on 10th May, 2025.
